Tasteful Catering & Event Décor Co. was born from Shantell’s lifelong passion for bringing people together through food and design. What began in her childhood kitchen evolved into a vision to create experiences that are as nourishing as they are unforgettable. In 2019, she launched her first catering venture, and in 2021, expanded her creativity into balloon styling and event décor. By 2024, these two passions officially merged into Tasteful Catering & Event Décor Co.,

a brand specializing in blending elevated catering and

bespoke décor to deliver events that are

seamless, stylish, and truly memorable.

Our catering services range from intimate dinners to

large-scale weddings, corporate functions, and social

gatherings. Every menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring fresh

Founder & Chief Tastemaker

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Shantell is a certified chef, creative visionary, proud mom, and soon to be wife with a passion for turning moments into magic. Inspired by her mother, a pastry chef and caterer, she followed in her footsteps—earning her culinary credentials and launching a business that blends soulful food with stylish decor.

As a minority woman in business, Shantell brings bold flavor, fresh ideas, and a whole lot of heart to every event. When she’s not cooking or styling, you’ll find her traveling, dreaming up new designs, or chasing joy with her biggest inspiration—her family.

Tasteful isn’t just her brand. It’s her way of life.

Director of Flavor & Experience

Jessica G. Lemon is a trained chef, former catering business owner, and proud mother. Jessica discovered her passion in the kitchen of her grandmother, where cooking became both a refuge and a foundation.

After years of running her own business, she honed her craft at Stratford University, where she met founder and Chief Tastemaker Shantell White in 2020.

Their shared passion and creative alignment now fuel Tasteful’s elevated culinary experiences—bringing both soul and skill to every event.
